In a major step towards financial self-sustainability, Kabati Parish has successfully raised over 8.2 million shillings in a fundraising drive spearheaded by Dr. Vincent Munyoki. The funds will go toward the construction of a new school at Holy Family Catholic Parish in Kabati, aimed at reducing the parish’s dependence on external support for its operations.
Parishioners from Kabati came together in full force, contributing both financially and with in-kind donations. Those without cash offered items such as chickens, goats, and other goods, which were later converted into monetary contributions for the project.
Dr. Munyoki, a key figure in supporting various fundraising initiatives within the church, has been instrumental in rallying support for projects that aid the church’s mission. His next appearance is scheduled for this weekend in Kitui Town, where he will participate in a fundraiser at John Paul II center to help finance the construction of a Diocese mall, another project aimed at ensuring long-term self-sustainability for the church.
Amen and God bless
