Hon. Cyrus Musyoka, widely known as Sonko, has pledged to remain steadfast in advancing his development agenda for Ikanga/Kyatune ward, undeterred by political adversaries.
The aspiring Member of Parliament 2027, who currently represents Ikanga/Kyatune ward, reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the fruits of devolution are felt throughout his ward.
Hon. Sonko emphasized his dedication to infrastructure development, including the continued lobbying for better roads, Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) classrooms, and healthcare facilities. He also highlighted his focus on creating opportunities for the youth in his ward, ensuring they benefit from available resources and programs.
With the 2027 parliamentary race on the horizon, Sonko has emerged as a formidable candidate for the Kitui South seat, drawing widespread support from youth, women, and men alike.
His visionary leadership and ability to effect positive change have positioned him as a frontrunner within the Wiper Party, where he is expected to secure the party’s ticket for the upcoming election.
As Sonko remains focused on delivering his promises to the people, his growing popularity is causing concern among rivals, many of whom reportedly view his ascent as a threat to their political future.
