Gera the Selector, a celebrated radio journalist from the Kamba community, has been arrested by Kitui police. The popular host of the “Mikatiko Mix” on County FM, the leading radio station in Ukambani, announced the arrest through a post on his Facebook account, expressing concerns for his safety after police reportedly stormed his house.
Currently, the Chief Editor of Kitui Times is at the police station seeking to uncover the reasons behind Gera’s arrest. According to available information, the Officer Commanding Station (OCS), the plaintiff, a woman, and the defendant, Gera the Selector, are engaged in a closed-door interrogation. Journalists and fans have gathered outside the station, anxiously awaiting updates.
