Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe has cited unity within the county government as key to driving progress for the residents.
Speaking at the funeral of the late Sharon and baby Hope in Athi, Kitui South Sub-county today, the Governor noted that conflicts are unnecessary in governance and promised to foster harmony among leaders.
“On matters that may have posed challenges, we will do whatever it takes to reach a consensus,” he said.
Governor Malombe also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to advancing development and restated that his government will continue prioritizing the well-being of the people to enhance their livelihoods.
Former MP Hon. Muoki, area MCA Muthama Kieti, County Ministers Peter Kilonzo and Richard Mwendandu, and Chief Officer Gladys Kivoto were also present.
