Universal Traders Sacco has been awarded the top trophy for the best cooperative movement/Sacco at the ongoing Kitui Agricultural Show and Trade Fair, held at Ithookwe Showground in Kitui County. The prestigious trophy was presented by Kitui CECM Agriculture and Livestock Mbaya Kimwele and CECM Trade Rose Mutuku.
Renowned for its support to small-scale traders, individuals, organizations, and institutions, Universal Traders Sacco provides loans at reasonable rates, enabling seamless day-to-day operations without financial hitches.
The event presented a golden opportunity for Kitui residents to interact with Universal Traders Sacco officials and learn about the benefits of choosing the Sacco as a financial growth partner. UTS CEO Dominic Mutunga, accompanied by other officials, joined the host branch manager Josphat Mutua in showcasing their services and products during the three-day event, which concludes tomorrow, July 27, 2024.
Universal Traders Sacco also reintroduced its popular promotion program this month. Members who top up their capital share with Ksh. 10,000 or more will receive a 3% commission quarterly, credited to their Akiba accounts. The promotion runs in two rounds: July to September and October to December, with regular share top-ups earning a 2% commission quarterly. This initiative has strengthened customer trust and motivation, enhancing their saving power with tangible benefits at the promotion’s end.
