New Dawn :Kitui Gen-Zs now Want Kitui Youth leader Dr Vincent Munyoki to vie for Kitui gubernatorial seat come 2027.

The youth and Generation Z of Kitui County are rallying behind Dr. Vincent Munyoki, urging him to vie for the gubernatorial seat in the 2027 general election. They see Dr. Munyoki, founder of the Vincent Munyoki Foundation, as a beacon of hope and vision for Kitui, citing his extensive community empowerment initiatives as proof of his leadership capabilities. Despite the overwhelming support, Dr. Munyoki has not yet expressed interest in running for governor.

Dr. Munyoki has been a relentless advocate for youth involvement in politics, promoting youth leadership and earning the trust and admiration of both young people and adults in Kitui. His consistent efforts have positioned him as an ideal candidate for the county’s top office, traditionally held by political elites. The youth believe that 2027 could mark a significant change as they push for greater representation in leadership.
